At BAG we believe in empowering the client through the project manager. Each client is assigned a dedicated Project Manager (PM), who is the primary contact for each specific project. Our project managers are strong problem solvers and consummate multi-taskers. Personable and with strong leadership skills for managing both the internal and the clients’ team, our project managers ensure that everyone is working together to meet the project timeline and budget.
When a new project is identified, the dedicated project manager contacts each pertinent functional area manager with a preliminary scope of work for that area and requests that resources be assigned to the project. They coordinate all activities and are the interface between the client and BAG, holding the individual team members and different functional areas responsible for meeting deadlines, providing action item updates and advising if any potential timeline delays.
Depending on the status and complexity of the project, regularly scheduled phone conferences are held and specialists from the individual areas attending as required. The project manager continuously keeps the project scope in check and gains buy-in from management if the scope changes. If a resource is not available or if workload exceeds capabilities, the issue can be escalated.
BAG deploys repeatable project management best practices and processes to drive down project cycle time. Before any project is taken on, a comprehensive quotation is prepared, and a confidentiality agreement signed. Once the order is received, raw materials are ordered, and production initiated once the master batch documentation has been written and approved. After completion of the activities, the batch records are reviewed by quality assurance (QA) and the batch can be released by the qualified person (QP). The dedicated project manager is at your disposal throughout the process.
